Incorporating the latest technology, the cath lab is being imported from Holland, at a cost of Rs 3 crores. The existing Cardiac Catheterisation Lab (Cath Lab) will be replaced with this new state-of-the art cath lab in another two weeks.

The hospital which has been functioning in Mysore for the past three and half years has become quite popular among people for the quality service it provides at affordable cost compared to other private hospitals.

On an average 200 footfalls are recorded at the hospital everyday, of which 20 to 30 patients undergo various kinds of tests related to heart. With the commissioning of the new unit, enhanced services in addition to the existing ones will be provided, said sources in the hospital.

The special feature of Auto Transfer technology is that reports of angiogram, angioplasty and other tests will be transferred directly to an archival system, which until now was being done manually. Even the Stent boost facility has several latest technologies, he added.

The hospital is providing free treatment for heart patients belonging to SC/ST under various schemes, in addition to people holding BPL cards as well as beneficiaries of Yashasvini Scheme and other schemes launched by the Government.
